       Established in 2019, Kunshan GCL Optoelectronic Materials Co. , Ltd. is mainly engaged in the research, development and mass production of large-scale perovskite photovoltaic modules, and is committed to the industrialization of perovskite photovoltaic technology. The company's core research team, led by Dr. Fan bin, a national“Key talent”, began laboratory research on perovskite photovoltaic technology in 2013 and has more than 10 years of research and development experience in perovskite technology.

       At present, our 1mx2m perovskite module has achieved 19.04% conversion efficiency, and obtained TÜV Rhein IEC 61215 and IEC 61730 safety and reliability certification; 1.71 ㎡ tandem perovskite module conversion efficiency reached 26.36% . In June, our 2050 cm² tandem perovskite module set a new record, which is 27.34%, and the GW-class production line is expected to be completed at the bottom of the 2024. From 2025, we will continue to increase the volume of perovskite laminated commercial modules with 27% and above.

In 2010, GCL's predecessor, Xiamen Weihua, was founded.

In 2024, we started the world's first gigawatt-class commercial perovskite module production project, leading perovskite technology into the global commercial development stage.
In March of this 2024, the efficiency of the single-junction perovskite module was 19.04%@2m².
In April, the efficiency of tandem perovskite module reached 26.36%@1.71 m², surpassing the traditional silicon module and breaking the world record for large-scale perovskite stack module conversion efficiency.
In June, the perovskite stack module efficiency reached 27.34% @ 2,050 cm².
